THE LEGACY OF 2016

Spelman Women of 2016,
My name is Neah Evering, and I serve as your Senior Class President. The key word is “serve”. My job is to serve your progress while at Spelman College and after we graduate.
The 2016 Senior Class Council is comprised of 14 wonderful women who truly care to see your life at Spelman be the best that it can be. We will be serving as your council for life. This means we will be hosting events during future homecomings, lasting service initiatives, and planning our future reunions. This is why it is important for you all to stay in contact with us so that we can best serve the class, and your desires, because your desires really do matter to us.
The creation of this website started with council identifying a need for one location that all students can access, as some social media pages are not frequented by the entire class. Thus, we decided to create a website where everything could be found, which includes calendars, updates, pictures, and important contact information. This website (of which our web designer Alexis Watt worked tirelessly to create) will be an outlet to keep you informed forever!
In addition, the website will serve as an outlet that will allow us to hear more of your voices. So, bookmark this page, save the URL in your notes, and if you ever have a question please visit the website first!
The Legacy of 2016 is service. As leaders we understand it is most important to serve. Class Council serves you, and we as a class serve our community, immediate and at large. The best way to create the largest impact is to do it together. This website will strengthen our legacy through providing an outlet to reach more students. Let's continue to make the world a better place, together.
Sincerely,
Neah Evering
Class of 2016, Senior Class President
